Tying the Knot: Innovative Solutions

Imagine an isolated, rural preK<\#208>12 district that is not meeting adequate yearly progress, has a high American Indian population, needs curriculum revisions, and has limited planning resources for professional development. In this interactive session, two professors and the superintendent and curriculum coordinator of the district will model collaboration addressing the district's challenges. The presenters will demonstrate innovative strategies and tools used to support the district and create a culture of learning beyond inservice days and professional learning teams, including blogging, Skype, Blackboard, and Wimba.
